Sandbox

In our context, a sandbox is an on-demand workspace where users can explore and test applications freely, providing a hands-on environment for experimentation. Created directly from the Get Started page, a sandbox serves as a pre-configured demo environment where users can experience applications without needing to set up a full system on their own.

When a sandbox is created, it comes with an initial amount of tokens, which act as virtual currency to access and use the demo applications within the workspace. These tokens allow users to evaluate features, perform tests, and explore the available tools. Users can also install additional applications into their sandbox workspace, expanding their trial experience and enabling a more in-depth exploration of the platform’s capabilities. This environment, being separate and temporary, ensures that users can safely experiment without impacting live systems or data.

Does a sandbox is personal?

Yes, a sandbox is personal and not shared with other users testing Carmentis.

What is installed in a sandbox?

A fresh sandbox is set up with a single demo application: FileSign. This demo application is already installed and configured, hence you do not have anything to install (except your wallet).

Can I add another application?

Yes, you can add your own application to your sandbox. We have proposed a tutorial to connect an own application running outside of the Carmentis plate-form to your sandbox in a minute.
